Thank you for visiting the Mills for Sheriff campaign website.  
Who would have imagined that crime would have escalated to its current level and caused such great concern and unrest throughout our local communities? Because criminals are operating at will and without regard for the law, it is time for a change in leadership. Leon County needs a leader that has the energy, strength and commitment to administer and execute the law to make our community safer. I believe I am that leader.

I believe that the cornerstone of public safety and public service is the responsibility of law enforcement to protect and serve those citizens in the community who are most vulnerable: our children, the elderly and the disabled. My goal is to achieve the highest level of public safety and public service through the enhancement of public information programs, crime prevention programs, law enforcement strategies, programs to assist crime victims, multi-agency task forces and volunteer programs designed to enhance the operations of the Sheriff’s Office. I will restore public safety, public trust and reduce the crime rate in Leon County.

I am the only candidate with direct experience supervising criminals in this community with positive results. We have an opportunity to make our community safe and reduce crime thus, preserving the quality of life that we all have come to expect.  I hope you will join me in my efforts by supporting my campaign and voting for me in the 2008 Campaign for Leon County Sheriff.
