Personal Background:
Tommy Mills was born in 1955 in Tallahassee, Florida to Solomon (Sol) and Ruth Mills. He has been married to Kim Barnes Mills, a Certified Public Accountant, for over 29 years. He has three daughters: Sharonda Mills, an attorney; Danielle Mills, a speech-language therapist; and Allison Mills, a senior physical therapy major at Florida A&M University. He attends Rockhill Missionary Baptist Church and serves as a deacon, choir member, and male chorus member. He is also a member of the Big Bend Male Chorus Union.
